Scholarships

At Mancelona Veterinary Hospital, we believe in the importance of nurturing the next generation of veterinary professionals. Each year, we are proud to offer a scholarship to a graduating senior from Mancelona High School who aspires to pursue a career in veterinary medicine or animal science. This initiative reflects our deep commitment to animal care, education, and our local community.

We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 recipient of our scholarship, Aubrey Rhodes. Aubrey’s passion for animals and her dedication to becoming a veterinarian made her a standout candidate. Raised around horses, she has long dreamed of working in veterinary medicine, and we are honored to play a small part in helping her achieve that goal.

Aubrey shared the following heartfelt message with us:

Dear Dr. Ackler and Clinic Workers,
Thank you so much for this scholarship. I grew up with horses and being a vet has always been my #1 option and this scholarship will push me in the perfect direction and help me achieve my dreams. Again, thank you so so much and I hope you guys have an amazing day!
