Dr. Dale Ackler has been practicing veterinary medicine since graduating from Michigan State University in 1993. He practiced in New York and Flint, Michigan, before purchasing the Mancelona Veterinary Hospital in 1997.
We love our small-town location in beautiful northern Michigan. We are able to work and live in a place where others vacation. We love our patients and their families and the trusting relationships we build as their veterinarians.

We are a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital seeing primarily dogs and cats. Our commitment is to provide quality care throughout the life of our patients. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in preventative care for pets of all ages. Early detection and treatment of diseases as a pet ages and complete medical, surgical, and emergency care during their lifetime is our top priority.
