We are within an hour’s drive to Traverse City, Gaylord, Petoskey, and Charlevoix and only minutes from ski and golf resorts, hiking, snowmobile trails, and more rivers and lakes than you can imagine. We are a full-service, small-animal veterinary clinic looking to expand services by adding another full-time or part-time veterinarian to our team. We do not offer on-call services and are closed on all major holidays. Our staff is friendly, compassionate, enthusiastic, and well-trained. Our hospital includes a complete in-house IDEXX laboratory, Sedivue Analyzer, and digital radiography. We also have the IM3 high-speed dental unit. Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
The Licensed Veterinary Technician supports veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to patients. LVTs perform clinical tasks, assist in surgery, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Obtain patient histories and record vital signs
- Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed

Collect samples and Perform laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology, etc.)
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
- Take radiographs
- Place IV catheters and maintain fluid therapy
- Provide client education on medications, aftercare, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records

- Current state licensure as a Veterinary Technician

- Restrain animals safely for exams and procedures
