Boarding / Day Care

You can leave your pets with us and be assured they will be safe and well cared for.

We provide several ways to accommodate your schedule. All facilities are heated in the winter and cooled in the summer.

We provide premium Hill’s Science Diet food for both cats and dogs. Food, water dishes, and bedding are furnished.

Playtimes may be scheduled for your dog in our safe and secure fenced play area.

Boarding Policies

Pets may be brought in for boarding any time from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays. Charges begin the day of check in, regardless of the time your pet arrives.

Pets may be picked up any time during office hours. There is no charge for boarding the day of pick up if the pet is picked up before noon Monday through Saturday.

We try our best to return your pets’ bedding and toys to you in the same condition as upon arrival, however, some pets become excited here and chew their belongings.

Sunday Pick Up

Sunday pick-up for your pet is available from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and MUST be arranged for at the time of drop off. All boarding charges MUST also be paid for in advance to take advantage of the Sunday pick up.

In the event your pet becomes ill while boarding with us, Dr. Ackler will treat the pet at an additional expense.

Day Care

Pets may be left at our office and picked up any time during office hours. You can schedule a full or half day stay for them.

Dogs have the option of additional play time in our secure outside play area.

Verification of current vaccinations is required.

Overnight Boarding

We provide a safe, clean and well supervised boarding facility. You are welcome to visit the facility prior to leaving your pet with us.

Dogs and Cats may stay in a kennel alone or with one of your other pets. We provide the highest quality pet foods for them, not to mention a treat occasionally. Soft quilts and blankets are ready for them to lie on. All runs have heated floors in the winter and are air-conditioned in the summer.

Dogs may stay in a totally indoor space or one with an outdoor kennel where they can watch whatever dogs watch so intently when outside. They also have the option of additional play time while here. This can include playing ball or frisbie in our outdoor play yard, or for our more mellow guests, 15 minutes of personal attention, such as petting or brushing

Cats are in a light, airy facility and have a bird feeder attached to their window to provide some outside interest.

Our trained staff will administer any medication provided by you for your pet.

Dr. Ackler is available to examine your pet while it is boarding per your request.

The following vaccinations are required. If you are not able to provide us with verification of these at the time of check in, we will provide your pet with the necessary protection at your expense.
